Great expansion to the GoT LCG 2.0. Love this game.
I still can't get my head round the new Night’s Watch character "Will". He basically forces you to defend all challenges, if you lose an unopposed challenge you have to sacrifice a Ranger which is not great but the expansion in all adds much needed cards to the slim core set.

5,0 van 5 sterren And So it Begins
Beoordeeld in de Verenigde Staten op 27 mei 2016
I highly enjoy this game but I don’t pretend to be an expert at it by any means. Still I have reviewed many LCGs like Netrunner and Lord of the Rings. So I thought I would use the same card over card review for this game too. So I will be ranking the cards on a 1-5 scale. 5 means it is essential while 1 means it’s going to ride the binder till the end of time.
Please note that all of these evaluations on the cards are just my opinion. And they are based on the cards that are out now. Sometimes cards vastly increase in their value when a sweet new combo comes out. But I digress. On to the review!
*Will (3) Stealth and insight are pretty sweet. But I have never used him for my Night’s Watch deck. He’s fine. But not setting the world on fire.
*The Watch Has Need (2) Tutor effects are always good. This one is a little underwhelming though. It only lets you search per the reserve value. That can be low. Unless you are running a heavy character deck it has a bad chance of whiffing.
*Maester Luwin (2.5) A 3 cost 2 strength bi-con (two different icons) is fine. And he can gain a lot of different abilities. He is non-loyal. But he is going to need to be in a Stark heavy deck.
*Lady (3) Cool attachment and very thematic.
*Arbor Knight (3) Buffs are nice. And he is a cheap character.
*Pleasure Barge (1) Drawing 3 cards for 0 cost seems epic. Till you realize you lose one income for the rest of the game. Per Barge (it’s a location). Then you realize the Lannisters can Treachery it too. So you lose the income and don’t even get to draw the cards. Yeah…pass!
*Renly Baratheon (3) Not really a Baratheon player. But he seems fine.
*King Robert’s Warhammer (1) Sure if you get the perfect storm of events you could win the game. But that requires a lot of ifs. Sure you can use it multiple times in a game. But still it’s a pass on this one.
*The Hound (5) Now here’s a staple card. He is a cheap bi-con. He can ambush. And his “drawback” protects him from Tears of Lys. This card is bonkers! A must include in most (if not all) Lannister decks.
*Cersei’s Wheelhouse (1) Maybe worse than pleasure barge. Makes it harder for you to go first, but gives you an advantage if you do. Not worth playing in my opinion.

*The Seastone Chair (4) Very good card. Worth running in your Greyjoy deck.
*Rise of the Kraken (4) The first non-neutral plot card. There is arguments on how powerful it is. Personally I’m a fan.
    *Merchant Prince (2.5) He’s a fine chud.
*Vaes Dothrak (2) I get the distinct feeling that they want you to run a lot of attachments in a Targ deck. You can discard an attachment to discard another one. It’s neat. But it requires a specific deck build to take advantage of it.
*Bastard Daughter (3) Solid. I’m not really a Martell player but I see why she’s good.
*The Long Plan (3) Playing Martell is all about patience. This plot contributes to that.
*Support of the People (2.5) Not a huge fan of this card. But I think it makes sense for it to exist in the game. Rewards a huge power challenge with a location tutor.
*Street of the Sisters (2.5) Think they are trying to get us to build a deck that wins a lot of power challenges…
*Muster the Realm (3) Another pretty specific card. But fun if you want to make a deck with a lot of armies in it.
*Here to Serve (4) Excellent plot card! It says that when it is revealed you can search your deck for a Maester character with printed cost 3 or lower, and put into play. Not bad at all. Obvious synergy with Maester Cressen as the other reviewer pointed out.

*Final Score (5) If you are playing this game grab this pack. It’s honestly not optional. You get some great cards and the game improves over the core set. Worthy addition to the game!

The only complaint I have is that I don't play enough. Love the GOT series/books and this game is such a nice edition. This expansion hits on some of my favorite characters and events.
