So, I think most of the race for the galaxy expansions were solid. I also think they were each kind of bad, or had some mechanics that did not work well. But this one just seems to get it right. None of the xeno invasion stuff made things awkward or anything, players are capable of going military or just going straight for regular goods development. Both options worked and worked well. The invasion part of the game added some real tension as well. I do not see a point to buying all the expansions (especially since the arc systems force you to remove and only play with one arc at a time), obviously I liked this one the most, and would recommend it.
