Product Description

In Babylonia, players command their own clan of merchants, with the aim of creating the most lucrative routes between cities and settlements. Players must position themselves in the most fertile fields and next to the temples (Ziggurats), where they will obtain the invaluable support of the religious authorities.
Babylonia is a game of placement in the purest style of its author, Reiner Knizia. With its simple yet elegant rules, every game is both exciting and immersive from start to finish.

      Fun and quick.

Some of the wooden disks were stuck together, and the paint for one got onto the back of another piece. Given that you're supposed to "shuffle" the wooden disks and not know what they are, any sort of marking on the back of a disk is bad. Especially when it would give a player the advantage of drawing the disks they want earlier. This would be akin to two cards sticking together in a deck, and one leaving a mark on the back of another. I'm very surprised about this error, and it seems to show a lack of attention to piece quality where it matters most.

The game itself is very fun, and one of my favorite boardgames now, but this issue is a bit baffling and frustrating to me.
