      „Arkham Horror: Das Kartenspiel“ ist für mich die perfekte Mischung aus Pen & Paper, Brettspiel und Deck-Building-Kartenspiel. Das Spiel fängt die Atmosphäre von Cthulhu und dem Arkham-Mythos hervorragend ein und lässt die Spieler tief in eine Welt voller Geheimnisse und Albträume eintauchen. Besonders brillant finde ich, dass das Spielbrett für jedes Szenario anders ist und mit Karten ausgelegt wird. Das sorgt für viel Abwechslung.
      Die Zusammenstellung des Kartendecks für deinen Charakter aus einem Pool von Karten macht unglaublich viel Spaß. Es ist ein kreativer Prozess, bei dem man strategisch seine eigenen Stärken und Schwächen auswählt und immer wieder neue Kombinationen ausprobiert. Die Grundbox ist ein schöner Einstieg in das Spiel und bietet bereits eine Menge Content. Wer aber tiefer in das Spiel eintauchen möchte, wird um die eine oder andere Erweiterungsbox nicht herumkommen.
      Was Arkham Horror wirklich besonders macht, ist die Möglichkeit, das Spiel mit Accessoires zu optimieren. Münzkapseln für die Token des Mythosbags sind ein Muss, da sie das Handling der Token erheblich verbessern. Und Miniaturen für die Ermittler erhöhen die Immersion und lassen das Spiel noch mehr lebendig werden.       Habe es für mich und meine Freundin bestellt und muss sagen es macht einen riesen Spaß. Wer früher oder auch heute gerne mit tcg gespielt hat wird hier auch seinen Spaß finden. Die eher düstere Atmosphäre und den Lovecraft horror runden das Spiel ab. Die nächste Erweiterung wird bald bestellt.

      Ich war anfangs skeptisch es zu bestellen, da ich die beiden Geschwister schon habe (Marvel Champions und Herr der Ringe LCG), aber in dem Fall ist mehr einfach besser. Das Spiel ist sehr gut und wird seinem Ruf gerecht. Amazon hat wie immer sehr schnell und zu einem fairen Preis geliefert.
