Diet Evil Games was originally conceived as a company making humorous games for adults. Unexpectedly, its games were well received by children. The company was renamed Dancing Eggplant Games after it received feedback from retailers that they were having trouble trying to explain to parents that despite the word "evil" in the company's name their games were suitable for children.
