Alert all commands, Fantasy Flight Games has just announced that Star Wars: Unlimited has just been rebooted for another round of expansion sets. After a successful launch in March 2024, fans have enjoyed this trading card game for its strategy-style gameplay, stunning artwork and because it allows players to evolve and grow their collection of cards as and when the gamemasters release new sets and booster cards over time.
The new launch titled Twilight of the Republic is the third launch in this epic collection and here is everything you need to know to get your hands on these new sets.
Although the original game Star Wars: Unlimited only came out to fans in early 2024, we are already getting the third instalment of this game. The first and original set is Star Wars: Unlimited - Spark of the Rebellion (find the two-player starter set for Spark of the Rebellion on TableTopFinder to begin your set).
Of course, in true Star Wars fashion, the game makers at Fantasy Flight Games didn’t want to find our lack of faith disturbing so they quickly gave us the second set, Shadows of the Galaxy (grab your copy of the two-player starter set for Shadows of the Galaxy through TableTopFinder to add to the endless possibilities of this trading card game).
To recap, players will need 50 deck cards total to start their game. Then you can add any subsequent cards from various booster packs from any of the three current (or any future) launches. Players will need a leader card each and after learning the game’s house rules can set afoot at defeating their opponent.
Find out more about the orignal launch of Star Wars: Unlimited and how to play this trading card game in our previous blog post.
Twilight of the Rebellion is set to succeed Shadows of the Galaxy in November 2024. It will be a set based on the Clone Wars, so as you can imagine, all the classics will be back in this epic collection. So expect familiar faces, transport vehicles and weapons to play a key role in this pack.
This set will give table top players a chance to run as two new leaders: Ahsoka Tano, a feisty Papawan who commands decks in aggression and command, and General Grievous, the droid armies leader with an affinity for boosted attack power. Additionally, this third set inclused a new token type known simply as token units.
We hope you are excited to expand your kits with the new Star Wars: Unlimited sets as part of the Twilight of the Republic’s debut in November 2024. Like previous releases, this collection can be bought in three main ways and you can find links for purchasing these games on the TableTopFinder website:
