    Ruined box and gunk.
    I just want to start saying that I absolutely LOVE RDI. It’s an amazing game that I’ve enjoyed with friends hundreds of times, and this expansion in particular is my favorite because I mainly play The Wench. However, this review speaks to the merit of ordering from here.Upon receiving my game, the corner was completely busted in and the packaging was covered in gunk. Sure, the gunk would come off when the plastic was removed, but it still absolutely should not be there. Even then, there was no recovering that obliterated corner. Now, you may blame that on the shipping, but the package was in perfect condition, and was quite the rigid package, so there’s no way it was from it being chucked around. It was packaged in that condition. I don’t know who thought it was acceptable to ship a brand new game, for the price of a new game, with the box destroyed, but that’s not what I expect when I buy a board game (especially since I’m really particular about the conditions of my boxes). Quality control is seriously lacking if that’s the kind of game I’m receiving. I’m saddened by the fact that I now have to refrain from playing RDI7 at game night simply because I can’t open it so that I can return it and get a box that’s actually the shape it should be. That return and replacement is already initiated, so it will hopefully turn out better this time, but I’m just honestly really disappointed.

      I love red dragon inn and this one is no exception. In fact, I would say this one is the best overall since one of the first couple games. All of the characters are well balanced and enjoyable. In the past, with other red dragon inn games, I’ve found myself not wanting to replay certain characters. However, I love all of the characters in this one!

      I highly recommend these characters. My current favorite is the tavern owner himself with his seperate story deck. His personality is great - very expansive and friendly - he sometimes deals out accidental damage by shaking someone's hand too enthusiastically. I enjoy Olivia, the Wench character too - she has more personality now and she has an awesome "special reserves" deck which can be quite powerful. Molly the Stablehand is maybe the most complicated of this set and she is so fun! She has a seperate deck of magical beasts which cause a lot of havoc in the RDI. Jasper the bouncer is cute and very simple to play.
