Of course this product is of high quality manufacture. This seems to be the Free League standard. The actual game screen is robust and well finished; constructed as three sides/pages hinged together, with a nice feel.
I don't use LM screens much, but since I wanted the supplement that came with the screen I would have purchased this even if I werent a collectamaniac. I play online, as PVP, so the screen is of no use to me, if I want to check a rule, I use the relevant book.
Frankly the Rivendell supplement is too short to be value-for-money. Yes, of course it's nice, but you don't get much. A fold out map of Elrond's valley, with his House plan on the reverse would go a bit to redress this.
Since publication (and in defence of Free League), this was launched as a product with the initial Kickstarter, so not much time to consider refinements etc.
There have been a few adjustments to the rule system, which puts this copy a bit behind, which is annoying. And apart from one glaring typo concerning a wrong Rune being printed, I suspect the adjustments will probably not be corrected.
I hope that a version 2 of the Rivendell supplement is made, and I would buy that. But if I had to purchase a SECOND LM screen as well? ... This time I feel I would decline.
