    Phenomenal game! The unique resource dial and card playing makes for a memorable game that ends sooner than expected. When playing with the full complement of players, 4, each turn starts with a choice of five cards, out of fifteen, that have two actions to choose from. After choosing five cards, each player chooses one to play and this is when the game gets interesting. Each player is trying to guess what their opponents are going to play. The reason being is the main goal of the game is to choose card no other opponent will use themselves. The reason being is when a card is the only one chosen then the player that played it will get to do both actions on the card. If the card revealed is a card that someone still has in their hand then they will play their card and all players will be reduced to only obtaining one action on the card. This forces players to try to guess what the other players are choosing and try to obtain the best turn possible. Following this fun guessing/bluffing aspect, players will be manipulating their resources to build the buildings they need. The resource dial is great as raising one good may cause the dial to shift and bring other goods to a lower amount. It is an amazing balancing system that is not about hoarding resources. This is a low scoring game so the four rounds played really matter as scoring high may be in the 15-20 point range. The theme may seem uninteresting but the gameplay more than makes up for it. It is also a very fast game that also has a very fine single player mode.

    Positives:
    - Quick gameplay
    - fun theme
    - amazing replayability
    - wonderful components
    - beautiful artwork
    - easy set up
    - great solo or multiplayer experience
    - simple mechanics, but huge depth of play

    Negatives:
    - Did not buy it earlier
    - the tiles make forming a strategy tough at times, but makes it a different kind of puzzle

    Anyone who looking for a great euro game that is fun & has tons of replayability- this is your game. Lesser known game of Rosenberg’s but a solid title!

    As a two player game, this has loads of strategy, loads of replay and loads of angst! We have played it nightly for about 2 weeks now. FUN and speedy, too. Our other favorite is Grand Hotel Austria.

    My friends and I are Rosenberg fans, and we had great fun playing this game. Similar mechanics were also used in Broom Service, another good game.
