Choose Your Deck

Each color, or color combination, in Magic reflects a certain style of play—each with its own personality, goals, and strategies.

Choose the Red-Green deck to do massive damage with buffed up creatures, trampling through your opponent’s defenses.

Choose the White-Blue deck to take control of the game—casting spells to stall your opponent while you fill the skies with a deadly swarm of creatures.

Tour the Magic Multiverse

Get a taste of Magic’s rich and varied multiverse—from a 1920’s-inspired world run by powerful crime families to a neon-lit cyberpunk future and a gothic horror plane full of vampires and werewolves.

Both decks contain cards from multiple Magic sets, including: Streets of New Capenna, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, and Innistrad: Midnight Hunt.

Learned to appreciate blue and green
There are card duplicates but I already expected that since I already checked the decklist. I bought it to get my brother introduced in playing MTG and now fast forward to present.. we're now enjoying EDH Format.Im also new myself and I kept avoiding green or blue in any deck due to preferences (black/white/red player). This starter kit gave me the opportunity to appreciate things I refuse to try

This is a great beginner magic starter deck kit. Or if you are already familiar with magic this is a good way to get some new cards as well. One of these decks came with 2 copies of thundering raiju which was nice. Although I only use one copy in the deck, so the decks are evenly matched against each other.

One thing I like about these decks is they are pretty simple - not an excess number of counters or instructions on the cards. You still need to look over and read the cards of course, but compared to some other decks and sets these are pretty simple and easy to get started with.

Also, the price is right - I think I paid 10-15 dollars for 2 good magic decks. You can't beat that. I have gotten some new decks over time, but I still enjoy playing with these decks, both online on arena and with my friend at home or the game store.

I guess the only thing to consider is that these decks would probably not be competitive against high powered decks but played against each other they are perfect.

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Thanks for reading and good luck!

This was my first time playing magic or really getting any exposure to the game.

That being said, I think these are both good starter decks that do a good job exposing you to the game. Gameplay seems pretty quick and easy enough to pick up on after a few matches, and theres a good variety of creatures, spells, etc in each deck to keep the game interesting.
All around I think this is a good starter pack that can give you something to build on.

My only real con was that the rules were a bit confusing at first if you're learning on your own, but there's lots of tutorials on the internet and the MTG Arena app is really good at helping you learn the game. After you install the game/app you can create an account and go through some tutorials that do a good job showing you how the game works and start playing some matches.

I'd definitely recommend it if your new and looking to give Magic a shot

I have a couple friends who expressed interest in learning Magic: The Gathering, so I picked this up to have a couple starter decks for them to learn. Of course, a well-built deck you put together yourself is going to be much better, but once you know the rules you can have fun with anything. This is just to get started without being too burdened by complex rules and strategies.

Basically, if you already know how to play, this isn't really a great purchase for you. There are a few cards included in both decks that are pretty useful all around, but you'd be better off buying them separately. And if you're shopping for someone else, ask yourself if they already have a collection of cards. If so, you're better off getting a gift card to a hobby game store so they can buy what they need for themselves.

If, however, you're new, or buying for someone who's new, this is a fantastic value for the price I bought it at. You get two 60-card decks, boxes, and rules cards that explain the basics. I think it was less than $12 for the package at the time, which is pretty fantastic.

Be aware: you'll be opening the floodgates of a major new hobby ;)

Contains two 60 card decks, 2 deck holders, an instruction booklet and 2 codes to redeem the digital version of the decks on MTG: Arena. The value was pretty good at roughly 20$ CAD and I'm enjoying learning the game. This pack is a great introduction to MTG for novices and helps generate interest in other sets and boosters without worrying about having enough cards to build a deck.

This is a great starter set if you’re looking to get into Magic The Gathering. We got this as a gift for my brother-in-law, and I was very pleased to find that the box arrived in perfect condition. It has a great few inserts to explain how to play, without it being too overwhelming for a new player. This is a really fun game, with an expensive world to explore so if you’re looking for a new game that doesn’t take up too much room, I would recommend this product.

Contiene cartas bastante buenas e interesantes.
