- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2024Style: Dwarf KingVerified PurchaseI was looking for another trick-taking game for my group and this looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun. I wish it supported two players, but we'll see if we can make some adjustments 😃

- Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2024Style: ProphecyVerified PurchaseIn Prophecy, players play the role of Mayan leaders using cunning cardplay and clever betting to outwit their opponents. The game is a series of rounds, each player attempting to win tricks with the highest card played in the suit that has been led. The betting mechanism is the main innovation in the game: the players bet on the outcome of every single round. In this way, added strategy will come into play as players will not only need to think about the cards they have in their hands but also what their opponents are going to do.
Some thematic components with great vibrant arts tune this game perfectly for players, getting them plunged into this ancient Mayan world. It's easy to pick up for newbies, but with more strategic depth, advanced players will also enjoy the challenge.
With decisions each round affecting the outcome of the game, Prophecy encourages interaction among players. There is a mix between luck and skill in the game, which makes each time you play excitingly dynamic. Whether you have been an avid trick-taking card game player or just starting to play, playing Prophecy will be fun and challenging because it requires critical thinking as well as strategic planning before the game. All in all, it is an excellent addition to any collection of games; perfect for those who want to try something interesting with the celebration of Mayan culture.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tolles "Ergänzungsspiel"
Also schnell zugreifen! 😃
