Agricola is a 1-4 players (5-6 with the expansion) middle-weight worker placement euro game based in Central Europe when the world was recovering from the Plague. You must plow, sow and harvest your fields, raise cattle, build improvements, expand and upgrade your home, grow and feed your family, and ultimately become the wealthiest player to win the game.
I feel that upgrading the components adds to the thematic feel of the game. Agricola is the type of game that is much more fun and enjoyable when it looks pretty.
And these worker tokens do not disappoint! Plus, this expansion includes 20 extra cards that add to the variety. Keep in mind that you need the base game to use this expansion.
My only negative is the price of these upgraded tokens. Paying over $20 for each of the six sets will set you back more than most are willing to do if you want to have them all.
Other than the price, I love this upgrade.
