En Donkey Valley cada ronda hay un burro diferente al que hay que cargar con equipaje. Cada burro puede tener un efecto específico que influye en la cantidad que puede transportar. Los jugadores juegan cartas boca abajo, cargan cartas y hacen una llamada si creen que el burro está sobrecargado o no. Si toman la decisión correcta, ganan puntos y, después de ocho rondas, gana el jugador con más puntos.
