Product Description
Venture into a land of fantasy and legend! In this cooperative family role-playing game, each player chooses one of four powerful heroes: the magician, the warrior, the archer, or the dwarf. Your heroic journey begins with a mission to rescue some wolf cubs that are lost in a dangerous mine. But, before embarking on your search, your party must get past Mart, the bridge guard, by completing all of his tasks. Only then will he let your party cross his bridge and enter the mine. However, danger still lurks on the horizon, as a dragon encroaches on the castle Rietburg just as you approach the mine. Should he arrive at the castle before your heroes rescue the wolf cubs, your party will lose the mission — and the game. If your party rescues the cubs first, you win! Andor: The Family Fantasy Game features gameplay that is similar to the popular Legends of Andor, but more approachable to younger players, making it a great introduction to the entire Legends of Andor series of games.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2024My 6 yr old loves board games and requested a game that we could play as a team (he saw mommy and daddy playing Defenders of the Realm and was very eager to learn, but it was too complex). Andor is similar to Defenders, but perfect for a younger player. Love the tasks and the characters. Love the different components and how it's not too easy to win. It was fun for the adults in the family, and of course my 6yr old wont stop requesting it! I just wish we could add more players.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2024My kids and I have had so much fun with this one. The setting is different than what they normally play and I'm hoping it will be a decent stepping stone to some D&D.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2023Bought this game for family of four. Youngest is 7 year old, oldest 9 year old (both girls). Had a blast New Years Eve. Game did take a little bit to learn and set up, but once we got the hang of it we kept wanting to play. Very fun cooperative game, especially if you have some competitive gamers in the family. Game was complex and random enough for adults to enjoy, but simple enough for kids too learn and have fun. Enjoyed the different quests ability each game as well which adds new dimension to each game you play. New favorite game in the family! Would highly recommend for board game families.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2024My kids range in age from 9-14. They loved the game so much. I decided to play with them as well, and it's addicting. My husband played a bit later and really liked it too. It's refreshing how the game is cooperative and that one person's win is a win for everyone playing. I highly recommend even for older kids and adults!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2021I picked this up just because of the heroic theme and co-op nature, as my kids are co-op fans (aka sore losers if we play competitive games). The game is well-produced with sturdy standee and board and tokens...and I like it have both male and female standees for the same character so you can pick the one you like. About the gameplay it's fun but i must say it would take some time to learn the rules because of all those little details...but it's the detail which makes the whole thing feel thematic (like the first campaign you need to carry an injured bird back to base camp for doctor).
Just one thing that i would like to complain: could we have smaller game box? (at least it's not a square one, but a Splendor-sized box can already hold all stuffs very well)
Anyway, i am happy with the purchase!
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2024I have a lot of boardgames that are unfortunately a little too complicated for my kid so I did some research on games that would fit his age range but still have some challenge. I saw this one on sale and saw the great reviews on boardgamegeek and had to jump on it. We have played multiple times now and it does not disappoint a bit. It's easy enough for him to understand but still complicated enough that it provides a fulfilling challenge. Would definitely recommend this to other parents with kids of a similar age.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2024My 8-yr daughter enjoy playing this game with me. Very engaging game. Each game doesn't take long time. It starts with simple tasks and gradually gets harder. So can keep players engaged for many continuous plays. Great design and high quality make! Worth the money!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2022Really enjoyed the first few games I’ve played. My 6 yr old and 8 yr old love it. I like it because it’s not an easy win. If everyone works together on a sensible strategy you’ll win, but 8 and 6 yr olds can’t always do both of those things, so it’s a good challenge.
I particularly like that the game changes each time you play it. The ‘fog of war’ aspect is clever and makes the game dynamic, and there are a few sets of goals you can switch between. All in all, I strongly recommend for any budding gamers and/or lovers of fantasy

5.0 out of 5 stars Great family fun!
Excellent game to introduce the little ones to adventure board games. My 6 year old picked up the rules very easily. You play through the game once and you’ll have it down. Great quality piece and art also. Highly recommend this game. A lot of replay ability as there are 10 different quests that can be completed and you can later use your imagination and make up quests, remove 1 attack dice, etc to make the game more challenging if it becomes too easy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Un juego ágil, fácil para disfrutar en familia

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect intro to tabletop rpgs for children
Grandparent bough this for our 7 year old. He absolutely loved it. Very easy to set up and start playing. Added bonus you can have several playthroughs with different missions/quests.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun!
Our family’s first fantasy board game. Easy enough for my 6 year old but challenging enough for hubby and me. It’s good quality. The cardboard pieces are pretty solid. Seems durable. I also really really love that every class (magician, warrior, archer, dwarf) comes in two genders. You can be a female dwarf or a male magician. Great for gender equality. It was a bit pricier than other children’s board games but overall I’m happy with this purchase.
