      In Animal Kingdoms versuchst Du, Gebiete auf dem Spielfeld zu erobern, um am Ende einer Runde dort die Mehrheit zu haben. Um Marker platzieren zu können, brauchst Du eine bestimmte Spielkarte. Welche, das ändert sich von Spiel zu Spiel und von Runde zu Runde.
      Geschicktes Kartensammeln (Set Collection) und die Auswahl des richtigen Zu besetzenden Felds (Area Control) führen am Ende zum Ziel.
      Endlich gibt es die deutsche Variante diese schönen Spiels von Steven Aramini, danke Game Factory. Das Material ist sehr solide, fühlt sich gut an. Die Gestaltung der Karten und des Spielbretts gefällt uns sehr gut. Das Ganze ist sehr übersichtlich gestaltet und auch für Farbenblinde gut zu spielen.
      Ein sehr kurzweiliges, spannendes Familienspiel, das über drei Runden geht. Es kommt bei uns immer mal wieder auf den Tisch.
      Kritik: Der Karton der englischen Version ist deutlich kleiner und schmaler. Das Spielmaterial jedoch hat dieselbe Größe. Ein kleinerer Karton hätte ausgereicht. Für Vielspieler zählt jeder Zentimeter im Regal.

      Das spannende Familienspiel sieht wunderschön aus auf dem Tisch und bietet eine Kartenablegespiel um die Vorherrschaft in bestimmten Regionen für sich zu entscheiden. Jede Region hat in jedem Spiel andere eigenen Gesetze die das ablegen der Karten regeln und damit das Spiel variabel und damit den Wiederspielreiz hoch halten. Die klaren, einfachen Regeln ermöglichen einen schnellen Einstieg und zügigen Spielablauf.
      Der Kampf um die Vorherrschaft im Tierreich kann also schnell gespielt und wiederholt werden.! Nutzt die verschiedenen Tiere auf eurer Hand als eure treue Helfer um den Sieg davon zu tragen..
      Eine wirklich gelungenes, wertiges Familienspiel. Das kommt bei uns garantiert wieder auf den Tisch. Es funktioniert auch schon mit 2 Spielerinnen am Tisch.

      Wir haben das Spiel aufgrund einer Empfehlung eines Freundes gekauft und waren auch sofort begeistert. Das Spielmaterial ist toll und wertig, u.a. die Tierkarten sind so wunderschön gezeichnet. Wir versuchen im Spiel, in verschiedenen Bereichen die Mehrheit zu bekommen, indem wir unsere Tierkarten geschickt einsetzen und damit ein Wappen im Tierreich platzieren können. Dabei macht der Kampf um die Plätze richtig viel Spaß. Kleine Anmerkung für Linkshänder: die Zahlen auf den Karten sind auf beide Ecken gedruckt, sodass die Handkarten auch in beide Richtungen gefächert werden können.

      Ich muss vielleicht vorab sagen, dass ich seit einigen Jahren grosser Brettspielfan bin und fast jede Woche ein neues bei uns auf den Tisch kommt. Für wenig Spieler mag das Spiel durchaus interessanter sein, das Material ist optisch wirklich schön und die Regeln einfach und schnell zu lernen. Für Familien mit Kindern und wenig Spieler ist es denke ich ganz gut geeignet.
      Für Mehrspieler fehlt dem ganzen einfach irgendwas. Jeder spielt halt sein Spiel, es gibt kaum Interaktion und wenig taktische Möglichkeiten.
      Wir waren leider enttäuscht und haben es nach 2 od 3 Partien als gebrauchtes Spiel günstig weiterverkauft.
