Product Description

With their mystical skills, the inhabitants of the skylands can reassemble the fragments. So they succeed in using the energies of the forests, mountains and crystals to create new islands and provide energy to the cities. Players guide the skill of the inhabitants and create their own island world. Those who use the four actions in the game most cleverly for themselves and keep an eye on their fellow players, will end up winning the game. For 2-4 players 8 years and up. Game duration: approx. 30 minutes.

      Skylands places you in a fantasy world, so it is a fantasy setting where there was a great apocalypse. The remaining survivors have grouped up on a sky island in a three caste system. You will create islands, both new ones and expand looking to generate more energy for your group of survivors. The power comes from mountains, mines, and forests. The game is colorful, not much in the way of downtown between plays, and gives many choices to the players. In short it was money well spent! We have played it several times and I would say it is at lease a look if not a buy. I was not sure how much fun it would be, but it has great reviews and the reviews held true.

      This game has been fun to play with my nephews, 6 and 12. it was easy to learn and quick to play (30 minutes or so) I would encourage anyone how is teaching young kids games that are beyond monopoly and risk

      This game is boring. Maybe it's my attention disorder but dayyyyuummm. I wanted to like it because the artwork is beautiful but the game play, itself, was a snoozefest.
