Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions featuring Eevee and their evolutions

Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions featuring Eevee and their evolutions A few weeks ago the newest set for the Pokémon Trading Card game was released. The set is called Prismatic Evolutions and focuses on the Pokémon Eevee and all it different evolutions.

These new Pokémon sets have had a bit of a bad release as it seems all products are currently out of stock or only available for very high prices. Fortunately, we were able to pre-order these early so we have received a few boxes and are ready to give our opinions on them.

Binder & Poster collection

The Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions Binder Collection and Poster Collection are both boxes containing several booster packs and more goodies.

  • In the Binder Collection, we find five booster packs as well as a nice binder to store the cards in. The binder can store 9 cards per page for a total of 378 cards which is more than enough to show off your Prismatic Evolutions collection;
  • The Poster Collection comes with 3 booster packs, 3 promo cards for the generation one Eeveelutions (Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon) and a poster depicting all Eeveelutions on one side and a Prismatic Evolutions Eevee display on the other side.

Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

The Elite Trainer Box is the main event of the show. This box contains everything you need to start collecting this set or to start playing the TCG game. The box contains 9 Prismatic Evolutions booster packs, 65 card sleeves with Eevee art, 45 energy cards, damage counter dice, and condition markers. Moreover, the box can be reused to store your cards as it has the perfect size to fit them in.

Prismatic Evolutions Sticker Collection

This set contains three variants of Sticker Collections, each linked to one of the more recent Eeveelutions: Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon. The blisters contain three booster packs each as well as a sticker sheet with prismatic images featuring the aforementioned Eeveelutions.

Did we pull any good cards?

With all that we bought, we had around 40 Prismatic Evolution boosters to open. From these packs we pulled 3 Illustration Rares, but not a single SIR (Special Illustration Rare). These are the cards everyone is looking for, they depict a full original card illustration of the Pokémon or trainer. In this set it seems that these cards are extremely rare to pull.

We'd love to complete our Prismatic Evolutions collection, but it seems it will be a while before the prices for these products to settle down. Currently everyone wants this set and prizes are skyrocketing. All we can do is keep an eye on this website to get notified when better prices are available. 😉
