Product Description

One ordinary morning, a police detective rings your doorbell. He asks you to come with him — to a cabin in the woods. You instantly know it’s the same cabin in which the sinister riddle master Dr. Arthur Funbeq locked you up a few years ago. Apparently, he has just escaped from prison. Now you’re headed back to the infamous cabin where it all began to help bring Funbeq down. The adventure begins … again! A sequel to the very first EXIT game, in honor of the fifth anniversary of the launch of the EXIT series

    Difficult - took days!

    Difficult - took days!
We tried an intermediate Exit game and found it easy, didn’t even use a clue. We bought this one as a challenge. Mission accomplished. It took days to solve, with the help of clues! We will definitely try another, but might go back to easy. Lol

We have been playing exit game since the very start only skipping several level 2 adventures. This entry is one of them most enjoyable in the exit series in a long while. Some of the riddles were very clever and some elements still manage to surprise us, despite being seasoned veterans.

The riddles were all challenging, and clever, without being unsolvable or dragging. Except for one arguable case, none required major leaps of logic, or felt unsolvable. when we peeked at the hints/solution a couple of times, the feeling was "oh, well the hint was staring at me all along" or "oh, I read that wrong, duh! So clear now!".

It's great that the team is still very creative, including it's use of game materials to setup some of the riddles. Seeing the cabin in 3d was also very cool.

Note, that while you don't have to play previous entries, I think it's better to play at least the original abandoned cabin, and possibly one or two more entries, before taking this one.

This is perfect either gift to someone or play it yourself. The design of the game was fun with great challenges that had us all thinking outside the box. I would highly recommend this for the value you get. Will continue to purchase these along with others. Don't be afraid by the small size of the object as it is portable and contains everything you neeed!

I keep thinking that there's no way EXIT can top themselves. Surely, there are only so many ways to contain riddles in a little box.
      Wrong!!
They brought it once again. Creative story and setting. New puzzles and ideas. Clues that make sense and lead you to the right thinking.
And the last puzzle? A huge win for sure!!

If you've done the Abandoned Cabin, Sinister Mansion, and Forbidden Castle, then buy this one now!
If you haven't, buy those AND this one now!!

We (family with teenagers) have played many of the EXIT games and we really enjoyed this one. The theming is great (you don’t need to have played the original Abandoned Cabin to enjoy it), the clues were unique, and the storyline was engaging. We found some of the puzzles/activities to be a little tricky and the clue cards came in handy a few times. Download the app and play the sounds in the background for extra ambiance.

I liked this game a lot, it had a more immersive element than most of them do, but after doing about 7 of these Exit games, I was not expecting this one to be quite so difficult for us. We’ve had a fair bit of experience with them by this point and we got stuck a few times. We always managed with the clues instead of needing the full solution, but one puzzle we kind of fluked out way into unlocking it, because we didn’t actually have the right answer but the wheel happened to give us the number that made it seem like we had gotten it right.
Highly recommended if you’ve played these games before but if it’s your first one, you will probably end up being very frustrated and lost.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but
Reviewed in Canada on June 19, 2024
I bought the first abandon cabin game and I bought this one with it so my husband and I could play both one after the other. I found this one a bit more frustrating then the first one. There were some puzzles that were way to hard to solve because that solution never occurred to us and we weren't told or shown that was an option. Its hard to explain without giving away spoilers. And this story did mention other games that we have not played. I looked some stuff up on google and I saw some other players suggest playing the games in the order they were published.
Still a fun game but I didn't have as much fun as I did with the first one. But I would still try the other ones
