Component Quality: The Quality of everything in this game is probably close to a 4.75 because of a very small complaint. The district boards (cardboard) don’t sit flat on the table. This is a small problem but may be big if you care about that.
These cards are really nice but you will be shuffling these cards ALOT. I would highly recommend some sleeves like Gamegenics. Only get expensive sleeves if you’re going to play this game a lot. Otherwise I wouldn’t buy sleeves. But you’ll be shuffling after every round.
Directions: The directions receives a 4.75 because they are exceptional! The small issue with the directions is they don’t spell out unique issues you may have when calculating points at the end. One instance is that the same tile can’t be counted in the same objective twice, but it can be counted twice in different objectives. Look up my detailed rules video if you have any issues!
Gameplay: The gameplay receives a 5 star! This game is phenominal as a 2 player game. This is how I played it. In this game you’re a spray painter tasked with spray painting the town. Every round each player gets a certain number of “lozenges” which are considered spray painting “tags”. You have to collect 3 matching cards of a city location in order to place a tag on the board. As you’re playing through the round drawing cards to find these matches, your opponents are doing the exact same thing at the exact same time. So you actually kind of have that rushed feeling of “I gotta get this painted before I’m seen”. Speaking of being seen. You can actually “rush” a pairing, meaning you receive a cop car token and get to complete one of your sets before you have the complete 3 matching cards. This cop car token is a negative at the end of the game.
It’s fun and addicting. I recommend it!
