Really like this game! Comes with cool pieces, and a great board organizer built into the box. Just be careful when you're punching out the meadow hexagons out of the box. I had a few that tore a little bit and wouldn't break out very cleanly. Not a big issue tho, very happy with this purchase!

Via Nebula is a lighter, entry level Euro game for 2-4 players. It involves creating roads, harvesting resources and fulfilling contracts to create buildings. The end game is reached when the fifth building has been built.

Via Nebula is a beautiful game, featuring a bright board, vibrant colors and smiling in-game characters. The simple mechanism of laying down meadow tiles to make roads is bolstered by the fact that your opponents can also use your roads. Revealing resources on a tile, means that your opponents can also take those resources, use your roads to get back to their building sites and complete their buildings. In other words, your actions can and will benefit your competitors at times.

Each round you have 2 actions you can take, laying tiles, placing workers, taking resources, putting a job site down and finishing a contract make up the bulk of your actions. These contracts in turn offer bonus abilities that range from nothing, to conveying bonuses at the end of the game. Each player also receives two secret contracts that only they can complete, in addition to the main contracts which lie face up and can be used by any player.

This is a fast-paced, fun Euro title, that while light, has a large amount of variety between the resources always being placed randomly, to not seeing all of the contracts every game. With only two actions per turn, it should also be faster, with a 4 player game being over in an hour if there is not too much "Analysis Paralysis".

A nice step up from games like Catan. The board might make this look like a tough game, but it's very easy to teach to newbies, and everyone I have taught loves this game. Each game has a different feel thanks to the the variable layouts too.

      Via Nebula is a pick up and deliver game with a twist. After 4 plays, I think the player count factors heavily into the enjoyment. I would not play this as a 2 player and might hesitate with 3. That being said, I think it is best with 4. Here are a few quick notes;
*Aesthetics/components- Great looking with a unique art style, but very fantastical in nature (we tend to like more realistic based themed games). Wooden bits, cards, and tokens top of the line...like all space cowboy games!
*Difficulty to learn/play- Simple to teach and play if you are a modern board gamer. Wouldn't be difficult to learn even if you aren't.
*Length- Fastest 4p game was about an hour and ten minutes, slowest 4p game was about hour and forty-five minutes (first game).
*Condition game arrived- Great condition, sealed, no box damage. Shipped to an APO, across the waters.
*Feels like?- Pick up and deliver can sometimes be bland. This one feels like Cinque Terre mashed with Relic Runners if you are familiar with those.
*Replay factor- Randomness in initial token setup. Double sided board. Different building cards to draw also shake things up.
*Fun factor- Hmmm, a bit of a lightweight game if you are a modern board gamer. Player count issue as stated above. We also didn't have any "Damn that was cool!" moments in our games. Nevertheless, a game we like and would play again, so I would say it is OK in this aspect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muy buen juego de Toma y Entrega
Reviewed in Mexico on November 27, 2017
